We export aftermarket mig welding tips to 46 countries in all common brands. In North
America Superior Consumables Inc. products are primarily used in large
high production and robotic welding facilities in the automotive, transportation,
large implement and construction industry.

OY, the largest Welding Tips manufacturer in the world has been in
business for over 20 years. Our capacity is over 350 tons of copper
annually at a rate of 33,120 contact tips per hour on 19 high precision
machines on 1 shift. Our contact tube is manufactured to the Quality
Management System of BS EN ISO 9001:2000.
 In our
contact tube manufacturing process, during the final drawing through the die, the
inside diameter surface of the tip is formed against a mandrel. Since the
mandrel determines the size and shape of the hole, exceptionally tight
diameter and roundness tolerances as well as a smooth extruded surface
finish of the inside diameter can be guaranteed. Bore accuracy offers
several advantages. To the manufacturer of contact tips, it means lower
cost as the calibration of the inside diameter is not required. To the
welder, it means a smoother running operation and longer tip life. At our
last year-end inventory we had 1,200,000 tips and approximately 50 tonnes
of raw tube in stock in Finland and 500,000+ tips in stock in Canada.

Superior Consumables Inc. also manufacture and / or distribute Mig Tip
Holders / Gas Diffusers with the Patent pending on the POWER LOCK thread
design, Mig Gun Liners and Mig Gun Nozzles which are manufactured in
Canada, Europe and the Unites States of America.
